Why we give
We’re compelled by the example of Jesus to be a generous type of people. Generous with our time, our attention, and even our money. Within our church family it’s our vision to share enough so that everyone has everything they need. In addition to that, we are invested in supplying needs in our community, country, and beyond!
Giving to each other and to our church is also a way of holding whatever we own with open hands and acknowledging that everything that’s created comes from the Creator, and everything we have is a gift from the Giver.

When it comes to finances, we have four commitments:
Low Overhead: We want most of our funds to go to ministry and mission. To channel more funds toward Kingdom work, we minimize fixed costs.
Wise Spending: I am grateful for every dollar given to Resonate. Receiving those first checks when we started Resonate was surreal. It created a tremendous sense of responsibility that has never gone away. We consider our expenditures heavily. Making sure that every dollar spent is a dollar invested in the Kingdom.
Financial Clarity: Budgeting and spending at Resonate is not a secret. We believe that part of a healthy church is having some transparency concerning finances. We are committed to communicating the condition of our finances. We'd love to talk if you ever have concerns, questions, or ideas about spending.
Increasing Generosity: We long to be a generous church. So far, we’ve been able to say ‘yes’ to all of God's opportunities, including paying rent, buying groceries, getting people off the streets, and more. As our giving increases, we are committed to increasing the percentage of money going outside of Resonate.
Ways To Give
You can invest in the work we’re engaged with at Resonate Church in three ways.
Give Online
You can also give online at anytime through our website! This is a convenient way to give to our work, and you can even setup scheduled gifts to repeat whenever you’d like.
Give Through Venmo
You can give through Venmo by searching @resonateaustin and making your gift through them.
Give In Person
Because we consider giving an act of love, we incorporate our giving into our worship service. During the worship portion of our Sunday service, you can put your gift in the Joy Box at the entrance to the sanctuary.
