God, I pray that in my waiting I would grow in my faith, hope, and most importantly love.
Background:
There were many faithful Jews at the time. Simeon was a prophet, a celebrated teacher, who was waiting for God’s Savior to be born. Imagine how Jesus’s parents felt hearing these words spoken over their newborn son.
