I pray to see Jesus in the wonder of the normal, mundane, and simple.
Background:
Joseph and Mary keep the custom of the Jews at the time. Eight days after his birth they brought him to the Temple with the customary sacrifice. This had been done for centuries for almost every Jewish boy born.
